Uploading photos to your Nixplay Frame through the mobile app is a seamless process.
Here's a guide to help you:
A. Creating a New Album
1. Navigate to 'Albums' on the bottom menu bar.
2. Tap the '+' sign.
3. Select 'Standard Album' under Add Album.
4. Name your Album and proceed to the next step.
5. Choose the source of the photos you want to send. Photo Gallery/Camera Roll, Take a Photo (using your phone's camera)
6. Select the photos you want to send by tapping on them. They will have a blue checkmark. Once you have made your selection, tap "Done" or "Add."
7. You will be taken to a preview of the chosen photos, where you can add captions if desired. When ready, tap the blue arrow on the corner to finalize the selection.
8. Ensure to assign the Album to the Frame and click 'Done.'
B. Adding to an Existing Album
1. Go to 'Albums' on the bottom menu bar.
2. Select the existing Album to which you want to add the new photos.
3. Tap 'Add photos & Videos'.
4. Choose the source of the photos you want to send: Photo Gallery/Camera Roll, Take a Photo (using your phone's camera), or Cloud Album (photos from your Nixplay account's Library).
5. Select the photos you want to send by tapping on them. They will have a blue checkmark. Once you have made your selection, tap "Done" or "Add."
6. You will be taken to a preview of the chosen photos, where you can add captions if desired. When ready, tap the blue arrow on the corner to finalize the selection and to upload.
Understanding Album Types in Your Mobile App:
ALL: Overview of all Albums in your account.
STANDARD: Collections of photos, including Emailed Photos and Favorites, assignable to the frame.
CONNECTED: Dynamic albums from social media (e.g., Dropbox, Google Photos), assignable to the frame.
SHARED: Collaborations of photos contributed by you and your friends.
EVENT: Use for get togethers and special events. Attendees share and view photos of the event as it happens.
LEGACY: Main copies/cloud collection of your photos, including those sent to your account (cannot be assigned to the frame).
